The sandwiches feature premium, white meat chicken with a crispy crunch that comes in three variations, including BBQ Bacon Cheese with crispy smoked bacon and tangy BBQ, Pimento Cheese, and Classic featuring a slather of Duke’s Mayo and pickle. For breakfast, the Side Chik is available in Classic and Pimento Cheese on a biscuit.

To help get the word out, Krystal partnered with social media influencer Brittany Renner. The creative campaign will kick-off with Renner on October 3, 2011 across TV, Social, Out-of-Home, and more with all of it focused on letting people know they don’t have to ditch their main chicken sandwich because Krystal just wants to be your Side Chik.
